Rope Art Installation, 6HEAD Restaurant, Sydney 2019
Melissa was commissioned by Design Partnership Australia to create a rope art installation spanning across 2 levels and 4 walls of the stunning, heritage listed restaurant 6HEAD, located at The Rocks, Sydney, NSW.
Melissa and her team used over 7,500 metres of Australian cotton rope (grown and manufactured locally) and hand-knotted each piece to create this beautiful intricate design.
The restaurant sits right on the water overlooking the Sydney Opera House and has the most mouth-watering food by the talented chef Sean Hall. You can pop in for a drink to get a glimpse of my work, or book your spot to be fully immersed in the lush dining experience. Don't miss the cow head sculptures that I designed at the entranceway too.
