How to get into your creative flow

When I go into my CREATIVE FLOW

Everything stops.

Thoughts go silent.

Time melts away.

Moments turns into minutes, into hours.

I can really the energy of feel life itself passing through me.

Flowing into the art.

Transforming.

Stillness returns.

I wanted to share some quick and easily digestible tips on how to get into your creative flow.

Step 1: Clear creative blocks and any limiting beliefs that you might have that stop you from being creative. Some examples:

  • Self sabotage
  • Trauma & mental health
  • Fear of failure
  • Perfectionism
  • Overwhelm
  • Negative self talk
  • Grief
  • Guilt
  • Not making time for yourself
  • Lack of commitment
  • Not knowing how to start
  • Keeping busy
  • Shame
  • Not valuing yourself
  • Comparison

Step 2: Reprogram your brain with positive beliefs and affirmations:

  • I am creative!
  • I was born creative!
  • Creativity flows through me!

Step 3: Find a friend/mentor to affirm that you are creative! We all need someone to believe in us, to back us, to encourage us, to remind us of how incredible we are so that we can shine.

Step 4: Find inspiration, go in nature, seek out people that inspire, do things that light you up.

Step 5: JUST START. Practise 1-3 ways to be creative for five minutes per day, start with something it’s easy, accessible that you can start right now. Then slowly build it up each day.

And if you need a little extra nudge of encouragement on how you can do this and clear any blocks that stop you, CLICK HERE to access my online workshop CLEARING CREATIVE BLOCKS 🙌🏻✨
